Gentleman framer©

The coach is in charge of the frame of the coaching sessions. Not the content, which is exclusively brought by the coachee. The coach remains within the frame of the overall task. Objectives are being defined with and by the coachee/HR. In all cases, the coaching sessions are stamped with Respect, Empathy and Benevolence.
In that sense of constant framing and benevolence, I like calling the Coach the “Company Gentleman FRamer”. See my chronicle on this.

With regards to the «  out of the box approach », that is ...

the out of the box approach is guiding the coachee out of his/her frame of reference, and so reveal to the coachee new perspectives towards his/her challenge. Here come the powerful «reframing» tools.
The analogy with the ‘gentleman farmer’ makes lots of sense as the Coach acts as a Professional in Organisations, adressing concrete matters for the coachee and generating concrete results, calibrated by the coachee.

All of that, floating within benevolence, esteem, confidence, learning, and why not mutual growth.
