CAREER TRANSITION COACHING
& COMMUNICATION IMPACT IN INTERVIEWS

........................................

Master of Business Administration, Solvay Business School, ULB

Since 2004, I enjoy facilitating Coaching workshops and seminars in the Career Advancement Program of the MBA, Solvay Business School.
The career service is one of the main reasons that Solvay ranks in the top 20 European business schools and top 100 worldwide.

“The School is particularly demanding in the selection and performance of coaches who work with the candidates on the critical matter of choosing and realizing their career potential.
Additionally, coaches must be equally competent working one-to-one, in small groups of 3-5 people, and with learning groups of 15. And the MBA candidates range from 21 to 50 years in age, come from backgrounds as diverse as engineering, law, business and arts, and speak 26 native languages other than English, which is the working language of the career programme.”
Round robin sessions on career achievements « Challenge-Action-Results », competencies and strengths assessments, transferable skills in career shifts, up to interviewing skills, and tough preparation to questions on competencies, motivation and cultural fit.

Across sessions, my priority always goes to individual alignment for each specific candidate, and the personal communication impact during interview. And so avoid the MBA-clone syndrom.

Some topics : “achievements, strenghts, Interviewing skills, job market, job search, CV, profile, STAR method”.
