TRAINING & COACHING AT UNIVERSITY
........................................

Cross-University

The Diversity of people at university or in organisations actually makes it their unique value, as much as Biodiversity makes the greatest value of our cultivations, gardens and forests.

I do appreciate the chance I had to choose to study at the Facultés Notre Dame de la Paix in Namur, the University of Liège, and at the Solvay Business School, Université Libre de Bruxelles ; the chance to be accomodated on the campus of the University of foreign languages in Beijing, to shake hand with H.M the Prince Philippe of Belgium at the China-Europe International Business School in Shanghai, to be a neighbour of the National University of Singapore for years, to walk across campuses of Harvard and MIT, to coordinate the Executive Master in General Management, SBS, ULB, to give coaching seminars at ICHEC-entreprises, and today train at the MBA of the Solvay Business School, ULB and at the FUSAGx, Faculté Universitaire en Sciences Agronomiques in Gembloux.

Across all obediences, remains impressive the avidity that Man & Student from the entire world have to grow, learn, be instructed, and interact !

Active learning methods

Above all, my interest is in session facilitation, more than in ex-cathedra teaching.
The facilitator-coach does not know…even when he knows.
The trainer knows. Sometimes, he’s formatting.
In facilitations and coachings, reaching the ‘state of not knowing’ is often the critical competency that allows optimal availability to the reactions of the group. It opens the door for non cognitive learning through practice, proactiveness, and experience.

In that perspective, my trainings are preferably interactive, allowing questionning, debate, confrontation of opinions and revealing recurrent schemes, behaviours or beliefs.
